I just thought I'd make a general thread on Necromancy, seeing as it is part of Dark Oracle and we can have a general discussion about it here. I wish I was as good as a Necromancer as Doyle is...

Okay, so what is this thread going to be about? is this just a thread on general necromancy discussions? I don't really know anything about necromancers except for the fact that it's in Dark Oracle and is a character in Diablo 2

Necromancy is a sort of divination where you can summon spirits of the dead and talk to them. Usually used for information or to find out about what the future may hold. I think it is used in some religions. In fantasy and fiction such as Dark Oracle, necromancy is usually referred to as something dark and horrible. It usually comes in terms with raising the dead as undead or reviving them. Ex] In Dark Oracle, Doyle is in a group of necromancers and from one particular episode I think they revived a dead crow. Necromancy is also commonly found in 'Dungeons & Dragons'.
I hope that helps you out a bit.
