Okay, I LOVE Sailor Moon! It's the best animé ever! Too bad it wasn't dubbed properly into English, which is why YTV lost the rights to play it. but this was my favourite show when I was in grade 1! I even have Sailor Scout and other character's costumes and merchandise!

i have all the action figures (not dolls!) and I too liked it when I was young but I'll argue you on the idea of it being the best anime ever. It really wasn't. The story line was far too "adult" in Japan and then far too juvenile when it was westernized. There are far better animes that stayed true to it's Japanese counterpart and were more interesting. Anything by Hayao Miyazaki for instance. Spirited Away, The Cat Returns, Nausicaa, and let's not forget Princess Mononoke. Those all have good story lines, graphics, dubbing and all have a moral to learn from it. Like not to be a glutton and to take care of the earth and it's animals.

Sailor moon is definately the best show of all time!!! After Dark Oracle of course...I used to be such a Sailor Moon fanatic. I remember once as a child I cut my hair like all the characters; you know the little heart in the bangs. Got in trouble for that one . McDonalds used to have Sailor Moon figurines, weren't the best quality but...Interesting why it doesn't cast anymore. Kind of sucks because a lot of people would probably still watch it. Wicked show!

Hi Guys.
I'm Mark, the actor who plays Doyle. Alex House told me about this site so I thought I'd check it out. Nice board! Anyway, I wanted to post because I thought you'd be interested in some Dark Oracle/Sailor Moon trivia. My wife is Stephanie Morgenstern who voiced Sailor Venus. Cool, huh?
Thanks for watching the show, I'm sure the second season is going to be great!
Mark

Hi Mark. That's neat, I didn't know of her, but after bringing up her file on IMDb, I can see she has a lot of experience (live acting and voice acting).

Ah. You know what's weird? I looked up some stuff on Stephanie Morgenstern, and it said she has a brother named Mark...

That's true. If you want more weird trivia, Mark the brother shot a film written and starring Mark the husband, which was directed by Stephanie the director. Confusing? Read about it at www.remembrancethefilm.com There's even a trailer!

Sailor Moon was the symbolic end of a golden era for YTV and for anime as a whole. Since then both have become watered down and poorly done. Watch the Sailor Moon movies and name one series that pulled this level of quality off since.
