"we're coming to get you barbara." I remembered that when I was watching Night of the Living Dead last night and laughed so hard that I may have woke people up.

I can't wait until I can see War of the Worlds. all this hype with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes made me sceptical of whether I want to but I really do. It should be really good what with the amount of money spent on special effects and cgi work. I'm hoping for some reallly big explosions and stuff.

I've heard mixed reviews for War of the Worlds, but I never put much stock in reviews... It looks cool. I'll see it!
I think the new preview for King Kong (directed by Peter -Lord of the Rings-Jackson) is going to be shown in the Fantastic Four.
THAT is one film I've got a hankerin' to git to.

hahaha way to make my day! the wardrobe...oi...haha
ya, I saw the trailer for Narnia and it looks way to cool! Super excited for that one. It was the second fantasy book I read. Magicians Nephew was the first. the Narnia series was so amazing and I grew up on it..then to the hobbit, LOTR and now Dragonlance. I grew up a nerd. The first tv show I ever say was star trek haha no lie.

It may just be possible that you are my biological twin...
I too was a fantasy nerd growing up... Did you ever read the Black Cauldron series by Llyod Alexander? great books!
Disney made a half-hearted attempt to adapt the 1st book as a movie back in the mid 80s and it stank worse than week old diapers.
I'd love to see a good live adaptation of that series.
There is an incredible series out now called the Game of Thrones Each book (there are 5 of them now) is at LEAST 1000 pages and while intimidating.... WOW what a series! King Arthur meets dungeons and dragons meets the West Wing! lol...seriously, great reading.

King Arthur meets D&D! How can I loose??!
It's about time I met my twin. I have this theory that everyone has someone in the world who is just like them. All my friends have an opposite sex version of them and now I can jump the bandwagon! Yay.

Oh my Gawd! My sister and I just saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night.... OH MY GAWD!!!!!
It was un-freakin-believable! we absolutely LOVED it! we had of course seen the original Gene Wilder version, but this makes the original seem quaint in comparrison.
If you enjoy fantasy and twisted fun, SEE THIS MOVIE!!!

I knew I saw a post about this somewhere. I'm really drooling over The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe movie...that was one of the first fantasy books I ever read! I just saw the preview for that movie on tv and it looks amazing. I definately want to see it too. I'm already having issues with some of the fans though... They're idiots.
