So, is there anyone else out there who appreciates the fine tale of Dracula written by Bram Stoker? I most certainly do. One of the best stories out there.

It certainly is the granddaddy of all the horror stories... while there were certainly many tales of the supernatural undead predating Dracula, few stories have held the publics imagination as strongly.
The only other horror story I can think of that comes close to Dracula is "Where's Waldo". lol
Seriously tho, great story!
May I assume that you have read the ORIGINAL vampire chronicles by Anne Rice: Interview with a Vampire The Vampire Lestat Queen of the Damned Darned good reading...
You might also want to try Anne Rice's: The Mummy

does your daddy know?
sorry - bad joke.
Read the Gunslinger series by Steven King - it isn't his typical horror story, but rather a 7 book quest to stop an unspeakable evil. It's well worth the read.
Also, try The Tailisman... great book. he wrote a follow-up called the Black House which is also pretty gripping.

They are mature books with both violent and sexual content. Depending on your age - you may not be mature enough for them yet. When you get the chance, they are a magnificent vampire series.

I just finished a great book by an Author named Christopher Moore called "A Dirty Job". It was hysterically funny and subversively wicked...basically it was about an average guy who finds out one day that he happens to be a grim reaper. His newborn baby daughter also seems to have certain....powers. And it gets nuttier from there. I think one of the main characters is based on Queenlillith.
Anyway - I recommend it!

I think it could actually be that one. But I think my sister doesn't want me to read them because I might make creases in the pages or destroy something.... Oh well... The lack of trust.........

That is too funny! if you still want to read them, get to a library, or, you can order them online from a used book dealer - they are pretty inexpensive in soft cover format, or, you could just buy them new at a book store, or, you could "borrow" them from your sister. What ever works for you.
My sister borrowed my copy of The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy book a few years ago. She then lent it to a friend of hers without asking me. The friend lost it. Now...my sister no longer borrows anything from me without a deposit, and return due date. lol

I think one of the main characters is based on Queenlillith. What's that supposed to mean? Ohh a grim reaper, sounds very interesting. I shall try to find it. Anyhow, the films based on Anne Rice's works, ruined the books.

What I meant when I said that one of the characters is based on queenlillith is that she is a Goth-girl into the whole vampire / undead thing and is a bit of a wise-ass and she has the best lines in the book.
I'm reading a vampire book right now called: The Nymphos of Rocky Flats written by Mario Acevedo. It's a vampire comedy/private eye story (the vampire is the private eye here)
I'm a few chapters in and so far its pretty interesting.

Ah, neat. Sounds a bit like "The Last Vampire". I didn't know you were into vampires so much. That's awesome. Wise-ass?
