Jana, thank you SO much for posting these details here. With many other shows, the most hardcore of hardcore fans are left guessing permanently; this is a great opportunity for fans ask questions, and actually get answers. I totally appreciate your posting here.
A few questions, though. Was it ever optioned to mature the show further with each season, to have the show grow up with it's audience? I saw YTV moving Dark Oracle to the late night block in repeats a last-ditch effort to see if it could pull in ratings from the higher age groups in a more suitable block, with this in mind, though it was kind of 'too little, too late.' If the show is renewed with this new network as it's home, you should consider a time-skip. I would honestly not mind AT ALL losing 3-4 years of the characters' lives, to ensure the original cast as main characters once more, and I'm sure everyone else here shares that opinion. Although, I would take Dark Oracle with a new cast over no Dark Oracle, and I'm sure you'd do wonders with it either way. If the show is once again nominated for an International Emmy, you'll have a lot better of a chance to be able to continue with the show on another network. Also, do you think there'd be serious DVD potential, then?

Yeah, you guys do deserve the thanks for keeing your fans up to date. However, if we skip 3 or 4 years of their lives, it would be interestng but most likely akward. These guys are great writers and etc. I agree, but I doubt the story would maintain the same spirit. Having this comic in College maybe, would work, but I dout that Cally and Lance would be able to stay together , maybe even different schools. Dizzy and possibly Sage would disappear. They would need to deal with it themselves, and not have each other to help with it and think up new plots to get around it. This would disconnect itself from some younger fans, but ight make up for it if it indeed becomes a more mature show. This show, should never go beyond college (if it still follows Cally and Lance). This would be a bold new dark oracle, lets just cross or fingers!

:'(Man, I honestly love the show. I make sure I watch it, it's really intense and deep. I feel like smacking whoever wants to put this show away. It ruins my thursday nights. If it were me, (which it never will be, really...) I'd just put the show away on another show that appreciates the incredible intensity and depth of Dark Oracle. Anyways, I just kinda wish Cally would go with Omen on the show....*blushes furiously and hides* they look like a perfect match to me.... *dodges bullets* (can you tell I'm a Quizilla writer? Tee hee...!) -_-' I'm going to shut up now and let you all go on with your lives. XD I hope with all of my heart and soul that the bumpy road will end for Dark Oracle, and understanding will reach the unbelievebly dim minds of YTV people. A more mature version will keep the world of wanna be's like Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles, Being Ian, The Prank Patrol, and Zixx Level Somethingorother alive and thriving. I'm surprised the people from the Gravol commercial havn't had their incredibly fake, overenthusiastic faces ripped off yet. Why must we suffer so? Us mature teenagers need miracle shows like Dark Oracle to open our eyes to the hypnotic intentions of Teletubies and Charlie and Mimmo, where you can kill a duck and everyone laughs about it in the end. I have an incredible urge to filter the crap out of YTV and move your miraculous show to a channel everyone really wants to spend their lives watching, like Showcase. Make it more mature, and it'll attract squillions of teenagers who long to let non-Caillou writers convert their twisted lives into an imaginary world of living comic books and alter-egos. SAVE YOURSELVES, AND YOUR SHOW, WHILE YOU STILL CAN!!!! Leave Why TV behind and don't you dare give up hope. I shall not rest properly until this show is set free from four year old prison. Damn all ytv. It shall perish, or die. Bye now!

Man, That is a great reply, you share my hatred or those that deny DO. Your words are giving some small justice to dark oracle just being there, a few more posts like that and a link in an email to ytv, and we really will show those bastar*s

if I'm not mistaken hasn't nickelodeon bought it???
It's in asia now and it's doing really awesome... even my 8 year old brother watches it with my 10 year old sister<--- which proves that it kids from 6-11 should be able to adapt to it too.
and please let there be a dvd release.
I don't think I can live if there isn't one. It's a show that is more infectious than the OC....

...Well, that sucks. It's not been airing long here at all, in fact... probably 3 months? And it only airs on the weekend, which makes things decidedly worse. ;.; Needless to say that for a new fan such as myself (and indeed older fans too), it sucks to find a new obsession already over. ;.; I won't hold any hope out for a new season, which I suppose is depressing, but I applaud the people involved in the show and wish them luck with future endeavours - you've got another nutty fan behind you. Man that really really sucks! *sulks* Gonna have to get my writing cap on double time!

This sucks. I havent been a big fan of dark oracle, but just by 2 eps, I love the show. Trail Blaze was the last ep I saw.. and I wonder how Omen gets out of the miror... but if we could (I sounds stupid), we could try to draw everything.. and all together, we could make a series final Boy that sounded stupid!!!!

Seems D.O. has been making the rounds out in other countries. A lot of comments from new comers, and its really nice to have a fresh wave of forum goers. Unfortunately, as of a few weeks ago D.O. has been missing from the friday night run, and the last ep that showed was the s2 finale. I hate to say it (maybe its on thursday or sunday) but YTV may have dumped Dark Oracle. I hope it is at least still shown in reruns on YTV or other readily available channel, but my hopes for a new season have faded. I know there is a somber mood to the forum lately, but who knows? Maybe someone from the show will post some ideas that they had in discussion for future eps, just a few little tidbits for closure.
