I dislike getting kicked in the head. (It actually happens fairly regularly - I'm taking Tae Kwon Do and just earned my 1st degree Black belt - woo hoo)

I just got back from lunch and REALLY dislike when your drink accidentally goes down the wrong pipe and you spend the next forty minutes coughing. yuck.

I dislike when people use 'gay' as a synonym for 'bad'. It's stupid and just encourages homophobic behaviour. Plus I think we all hear it being said atleast once a day.

Amanda, will you be my Valentine?
I hate valentine's day too.
Why?
It's a greeting card holiday that makes every single person feel terrible and everyone in a relationship feel obligated to do something "romantic".
This of course translates to the forced idea that, like Christmas, one has to buy gifts to express love. Flowers, chocolates, jewelry and fancy dinners are nice, but why are men pressured into feeling so obligated to produce these "things"? Shame on our capitalist society that devalues our humanity for the sake of the almighty dollar.

Yes I really hate Valentine's day.
My dislike began during my days in elementary school when all the kids were forced to exchange generic Valentine's day cards with each other - weather or not we actually LIKED the people we were exchanging cards with.
Later, girlfriends suddenly expected jewelry, flowers and fancy dinners, JUST BECAUSE it was February 14th. The years when I was alone didn't help either... watching the endless parade of happy couples canoodling in public; the ubiquitous advertising in print, on TV and over the radio over-commercializing this silly "holiday" helped propel my loneliness to excruciating new depths.
And, if Valentine's day is the only day that you treat your girlfriend or boyfriend romantically, then shame on you.
In answer to your other question: Yes, I haves me a woman. She is loving and sweet and she finds me funny. I make sure that I demonstrate the voracity of my affection whenever I see her. While she doesn't often get flowers or jewelry or candies, as these are expensive and fattening, she does get my ardor, my unwavering support, and my respect. We have been together for 5 years now and are quite happy.
And the best part is that she hates Valentine's Day more than I do!

NO!!!! ALL must bow to my will!!!!
;D
Of course people can do what they like - I merely expressed my personal opinion and meant no offense to anyone. Quite frankly, life is just too dang short to get all hot and bothered about inconsequential minutia.
Find your bliss and live pursuing happiness - it is a worthwhile goal.
